Pick up at your designated doors
Our school has designated locations for pick up your student at the end of the day. Most students get picked up in the courtyard or Varsity field. Only kindergarten students can use the Valiant Drive doors. Parents are not permitted to enter at the Valiant doors; please only pick up at your designated doors. This is for safety.
If you're late picking up your child, courtyard supervisors will bring your child to the office to wait for you.
Parking and Driving
A reminder about safe driving and parking around our school, especially at drop-off and pick up. At a crosswalk, a driver must leave 5 metres on either side of the crosswalk when parking so that there is clear visibility for pedestrians crossing.
At no time should parents park in the parking lot for drop off or pick up.
Are you up to date with your school fees?
Please check your MyCBE account to see if you have fees owing. A document with estimated fees for the school year was emailed on December 18, 2025 in an effort to be as transparent as possible. We appreciate your prompt attention to any outstanding balance on your account. Please contact the office if you need help navigating the system or if you are experiencing financial hardship.

eLibrary
Some parents are having problems logging into eLibrary. We are aware of the issue and the system team is working on it. We will share more information when it becomes available. Thank you for your patience.
Lunch and Snacks
As we settle back into our regular routines after returning from winter break, we have noticed that students are often still hungry after finishing their lunch. To help keep students energized and focused throughout the day, we kindly ask that parents review lunches with their child and determine if more items are needed.

Music Share
Music share is approaching at the end of January and the beginning of February. (See schedule below for times and dates) Music share is an opportunity for your students to show off their own musical talents. This can be playing an instrument, like the piano, or an instrument brought from home, like the violin or guitar. Some students have brought unique instruments to show the class, danced, sang.
PARTICIPATION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
Families or guardians are welcome to watch their student share and are encouraged to bring any instrument they might have to share their talent. We do, of course, have a piano and also have a drum kit for students who take drum lessons ONLY.
If your student would like to share, please fill out the form in the link below to let me know what musical talent they will be sharing and the name and composer of any song that they will be singing or dancing to so that we can ensure the lyrics are all school appropriate.

- Current students are automatically registered for next year.

Volunteer Request - Casino
We need nearly 50 volunteers to make the March Casino Fundraiser a success. It’s the biggest impact you can have with a small time commitment, with training provided and no experience needed. Volunteering is also a great way to meet other families and help fund the programs and experiences that enrich learning for all students.
