Carnaval Thank Yous

Un gros MERCI/ A big thank you to all the parent/guardian volunteers for your help and support at Carnaval this week! From preparing hot chocolate and croissants, to setting up and cleaning up loose parts, to Olympic ring planning and building, as well as receiving and preparing the ice blocks, your leadership and help was invaluable to the success of our week! Thank you for freezing your ice blocks, helping in the classrooms, and preparing your child(ren) with the clothes and a great attitude for fun in the snow.

We appreciate the work of our Carnaval Committee for the planning and organizations, and our lunch supervisor team for their excellent support and help to make the week a success.

Parent- Teacher Conferences- Upcoming

• Conferences will take place on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20.
• You can book a conference with your child’s teacher starting Saturday, March 14 at 8:00am through your MyCBE account. Instructions are available here: https://support.cbe.ab.ca/MyCBE-PowerSchool-School-Conferences
• This is the third formal reporting time of the year, and we have set this time aside in our calendar for parents and guardians to meet in person with their child(ren)’s teacher. We appreciate you making every effort to ensure that you can attend these conferences.

Book Fair March 12- 20!

Volunteers Needed! Your child’s teacher has signed up for one or two blocks in the Book Fair Schedule. Parents/guardians who are keen to volunteer at the Book Fair may wish to coordinate to help when their child’s class is attending the fair. You can volunteer for a short block or for a longer chunk of time if you are available for a whole or half day. Please email Mme Susan Neufeld, our Library Assistant, at SDNeufeld@cbe.ab.ca with the day and timeframe that you are available.
