Terry Fox RunWe had a truly wonderful Terry Fox Run this year! The energy and participation from our students were inspiring as they ran, walked, and moved together in the spirit of Terry’s legacy. It was heart-warming to see the determination and positivity from our kids as they gave their best effort to honour such an important Canadian hero. A big thank you goes out to our volunteers and staff who helped make the event possible, and to our families for supporting this meaningful tradition. We are currently tallying up the total kilometres ran and will share the final total with you next week.

Grade 4 & 5 SurveyDear Parent(s) / Legal Guardian(s) of Grade 4 and 5 Students Re: OurSCHOOL Student Survey Administration Varsity Acres School will be participating in an online school perception survey for students called the OurSCHOOL Student Survey. This anonymous survey is completely voluntary for all CBE students. Please find the details of the survey implementation below. CBE’s Education Plan prioritizes student voice and well-being in our decision-making processes. Responses from this survey are used at the system and school level to recognize and improve what is necessary for students to feel safe, welcome, and cared for when at school. Family and Caregiver CommunicationThe Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join a live online series on supporting child and youth well-being. The series is hosted by the Recovery Alberta Community Education Service (CES) Program in collaboration with local experts from the Calgary community.
