Varsity Acres Pumpkin Patch Event
- Each student is invited to carve or decorate a pumpkin and place it in our pumpkin patch on the side lawn of Valiant (see location map pdf below)
- Drive by 7:55 am on Monday, October 28. Students who are dropped off can place their pumpkins directly on the lawn and those on the bus can walk directly to Valiant Dr. where Mme Ireland will be able to assist between 7:40 –7:55 am.

October 31 Costumes at School
On Thursday, October 31, Halloween, students are welcome to wear costumes to school. Masks and weapons are not permitted; please leave the items at home and they can be worn for your own family trick or treating later that evening.
Parents and guardians, on Friday, November 1, and in the days following Halloween, please use your discretion when sending your child(ren) to school with candy in their snack and lunch, as sugar and sweets have a significant effect on students' attention, mood and behaviours. We want to set our students up for success in their learning and appreciate your partnership in this goal.
Alien Inline
Our Alien Inline residency is coming to a close! Mr. Shaun has done a fantastic job working with our students across all Grade-levels. I've been impressed with his positivity, skill progressions, and strong knowledge base. If you'd like to learn more about programming by Alien Inline, feel free to visit their website!

Healthy Hunger
A Friendly Reminder that our next upcoming Healthy Hunger lunch will be on Wednesday, November 6.
- We will be ordering from Avatara Pizza. Please email chris@avatarapizza.com if you require any accommodations (such as gluten free pizza or dairy free cheese) for your child's order.
- The order cut-off is at midnight on Friday, November 1st so be sure to order before then.

VAS Fall/Halloween Dance
