An update from the LC (Learning Commons)
Julie Siegle, Library Assistant, retired from the CBE in November. We wish Mme Julie all the best in her retirement and thank her for her support and hard work at VAS. We are pleased to welcome Susan Neufeld to the Library Assistant role. Susan has previously held this position at Varsity Acres School and provides vision and dedication to setting up this space as a true Learning Commons.
This week, we installed $20,000 worth of new, soft seating furniture in our Learning Commons! A huge thanks to VASPFS (Parent Fundraising Society) for funding this special purchase.
Thank you to Mme Susan who has spent countless hours planning, organizing and arranging the new furniture alongside our current tables, chairs, and books. Students have new reading nooks and workspaces to explore and utilize!
