Student Registration

We still have space in Kindergarten and grade 1 for this school year!  Please let your friends and neighbours know that they can start this school year at Varsity Acres in French immersion. Call the school at 403-777-6090.

PhysEd

Hello! My name is David Pakosh, and I’m thrilled to join the VAS team as your new physical education teacher. While Mme. Ireland has transitioned into a new role at the school, she continues to mentor me and support the Physical Education program to ensure it stays dynamic and engaging. I’m excited to get to know your children and help them stay active through a variety of fun sports and activities!

Dogs

We want to share some guidelines about dogs on school property.  Please do not leave them unattended.  As well, please keep them on a leash and away from play spaces.  Thank you in advance for your help with this.

Want to Learn French?

Chinook Learning Services offers courses specifically designed for parents and caregivers of CBE French Immersion students. For Fall 2024, Chinook Learning Services is once again offering French for Parents – Level 1 classes at Georges P. Vanier School. This eight-week course will help parents of bilingual students learn or refresh their French language skills, build their network of bilingual parents, and support their children’s learning at home.
