It was a great way to come together as a community and have a wonderful start to the new school year. There were a lot of tasks to be done and we appreciate the time you spent helping us. Thank you to the parents and friends who were able to join us this morning. We hope you had a chance to say hello to your child’s teacher and connect with some of the families your child plays with.

Meet the Teacher Presentations- Thursday, September 24Grade 1-5 are IN-PERSON Sign up for one of three sessions using your parent MyCBE account. Instructions are available under Helpful Links at the bottom of this message. Access to sign up will be available at 8:00am tomorrow morning. 4:00- 4:30pm 4:45- 5:15pm 6:15- 6:45pm Evening Meet the Teacher presentation sessions provide a chance for grade 1-5 students and their parents/guardians to come to the physical classroom to learn from the Homeroom Teacher about the curriculum, field trips, communication between school and home, and how to monitor and support your child’s progress. Kindergarten presentation sessions are VIRTUAL/ on-line using Microsoft Teams. Meet the Teacher Appointments 8:30- 10:30 am *NOT Required; only if necessary Additionally, there are optional Meet the Teacher appointments offered on the morning of Friday, September 25. Your attendance at the Meet the Teacher appointments is not required. If your child is on an IPP, or if there are critical learning considerations that you’d like to share with your child’s teacher, you may wish to book a meeting. If this applies to you, please sign up using your parent MyCBE account. Access to sign up will be available at 8:00am this Saturday morning. Formal Reporting of Student Learning Progress-November, January, March, June Please note that the Meet the Teacher night does not involve the teacher reporting on student achievement.
